These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Frenting, LLC website and services ("Service"). By accessing or using Frenting, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These terms are a placeholder and will be updated as the product evolves.

1. Service Description

Frenting, LLC provides a platform for hosts to create private listings and manage bookings and payments for rentals shared only with people they know and trust. Frenting, LLC is not a marketplace and does not facilitate public rentals.

2. User Responsibilities

As a user of Frenting, LLC, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Respect the privacy and property of others
  • Not misuse or attempt to circumvent the Service

3. Host Obligations

Hosts using Frenting, LLC agree to:

  • Accurately represent their listings
  • Ensure they have the legal right to rent their property or items
  • Comply with local laws, regulations, and community rules
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Honor confirmed bookings or provide reasonable notice of cancellation

4. Guest Obligations

Guests using Frenting, LLC agree to:

  • Respect the host's property and rules
  • Pay agreed-upon booking fees on time
  • Communicate directly with hosts about issues or concerns
  • Leave the property in good condition

5. Payments and Fees

Frenting, LLC charges a 5% booking fee to hosts on paid bookings processed through the platform. Hosts receive 95% of the booking subtotal (nightly rate + cleaning fee). Guests pay a 3% service fee per reservation to cover secure payment processing. No fees are charged to hosts or guests for stays offered at no charge. Payments are processed through third-party providers (such as Stripe). All payments are subject to the terms of those providers.

Hosts and guests are responsible for resolving payment disputes directly. Frenting, LLC does not mediate disputes or issue refunds.

6. No Guarantees or Insurance

Frenting, LLC does not provide insurance, guarantees, or warranties of any kind. Hosts are responsible for obtaining appropriate insurance for their properties. Guests rent at their own risk.

Frenting, LLC is not responsible for:

  • Property damage or loss
  • Personal injury or harm
  • Disputes between hosts and guests
  • Cancellations or no-shows

7. Privacy and Listings

All listings on Frenting, LLC are private by design. Hosts are responsible for sharing their listing links and passwords only with people they trust. Frenting, LLC is not responsible for unauthorized access to listings.

8. Termination

Frenting, LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or Frenting, LLC.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frenting, LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

Frenting, LLC may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
